Booking Form Terms and Conditions

  1. You are required to immediately notify us of any changes to your contact details or consignee contact details.

  2. Destination charges/ Government Levies/ Custom duties/ demurrage charges (if any) would be on shipper or consignee’s account and should be settled in full prior to release of your cargo.

  3. LIMITS OF LIABILITY

    3.1 Frico International LLC is not liable for any damages or losses during transit. If required, customer can request MARINE INSURANCE COVER.

    3.2 When sending Door to Door cargo, it is mandatory to provide a comprehensive packing list with item values and send a copy along with the cargo.

    3.3 Frico International LLC will not be liable for any loss or damages if the above is not adhered to.

    3.4 For shipment with NO DECLARED VALUE, Frico International LLC’s liability is limited to the freight charge.

    3.5 For shipment with DECLARED VALUE, Frico International LLC’s liability is limited to the value declared in the packing list or on pro rata basis.

    3.6 Frico International LLC shall not be liable for lost and/or damaged shipment due to: act of god or casus fortuitous such as but not limited to natural calamities, war, rebellion, civil commotion, act of public enemies, shipper’s fault, inherent defect of goods, government actions and the like.

    3.7 Frico International LLC shall not liable for any damages incurred by shipping perishable, breakable and/or fragile items. Shipper is responsible for ensuring shipment is suitably packed. Items will be accepted and shipped at owner’s risk.

    3.8 Frico International LLC is not liable for any damages caused by liquid leakage.

  4. CLAIMS

    4.1 All claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing to Frico International LLC within three (3) days from the date of receipt of cargo. Please note that it is only the shipper that may make a claim.

    4.2 Customers sending cargo to Sri Lanka are required to inform Trico Maritime Pvt Ltd of any claim for loss or damage prior to leaving the warehouse premises. Claims made after leaving the warehouse premises will not be accepted.

  5. SHIPPER’S WARRANTIES

    Shipper warrants that all information provided to Frico International LLC is complete and accurate; the shipment does not contain prohibited goods and/or high value cargo.
